Brazilian-born and Ohio-raised, filmmaker Filipe DeAndrade has a passion for wildlife and conservation. DeAndrade graduated from the University of Florida in 2012 and co-founded Comfort Theory, a production house along with Worth More Alive, an NGO dedicated to preserving wildlife.
DeAndrade is a National Geographic Explorer, 13X Emmy award winner, Panthera and UN Jaguar Ambassador and has produced and filmed over 100 hours of programing for the likes of Netflix, National Geographic, Disney, Amazon, Hulu, PBS and others. From surviving the favelas of Rio to now traveling the world with a camera, DeAndrade describes photography as his savior and nature his soul mate.
